Boissy Le Chatel

7.53 am Arrived at Charnessauil at 7pm – 15th Brigade in Reserve to 13th and 14th Brigades. 3rd Division on our right seemed to be having a good fight about 4pm at Busserolles. The Grenadier Company on outpost caught a German Guardsman – He could speak English. He said we only had one Guard Battalion against the Division today and they kept us back for the whole day

Left at 8am and marched via Sanay to Bezu le Query – Battalion shelled near Bezu lost 3 men. 1 killed and 2 severely wounded. Brigade on outposts

Bozu Le Query

3.45 am Left via Montreuil (Here the battalion took some wounded prisoners) Dauisy. Germaigny and Gandelu. On the road 1 mile for S.W. of Chezy we came to the Debris of a German column that had been scuppered by J. Battery. RHA at Hautevesnes. Arrived in Bivouac at Louvry near St Quentin at 7p.m. And officers bivouaced in the deserted and burnt out Kennels. The 2nd Army this day took 600 prisoners, 6 guns and several machine guns
