Tuesday. Bayonet fighting on “rouse parade” & I think the men are keen on it because it is a decent change. Route march of about 10 miles after breakfast, most of which time it drizzled, though it was very close & muggy. We played the 6th Welsh at footer this afternoon & managed to win 2-0. It was a jolly good match, some of the men are first class players & there was a crowd of about 400 spectators which helps.
