Sunday.  Went on parade to get the mens deficiencies made up, & to see that the guns were in good order. I saw the glare of liquid-fire being used last night somewhere to the right of THIEPVAL. We are to relieve the 117th M.G.Co. on the 10th it is a shame, they will only have been in for four days & we have been in 42 days with only 3 days rest.
