Monday.  One of the Blackwatch men was carrying two boxes of Mills Bombs & happened to bump them against the trench with the very unexpected result that they went off & blew his leg off, broke another, besides almost disembowelling him, so he died at the dressing station. There was a mine blown up this evening at 10.0 p.m. & also at 3.0 A.M tomorrow, both of which made my dugout shake badly.
